The ThermoPotash production process is summarized below.
1. Mining
Open-pit mining of Verde’s potassium-rich rock from Cerrado Verde. Another key ingredient of ThermoPotash, limestone, could be mined from our Calcario Project or sourced from suppliers in the surrounding area.
2. Grinding and Mixing
The potassium-rich rock and limestone are ground to powder by upright rod mill. The powdered rock and limestone are then mixed and water is added to be ready for pelletization.
3. Pelletization and Drying
The Company plans on creating pellets with disc pelletizers. Before the heating process, the pellets will be dried by exhaust gas from the rotary kiln.
4. Rotary Kiln and Quenching
Dried pellets go into the rotary kiln to be heated to 1,250°C and rapidly cooled.
5. Packaging
The finished product is packaged and is ready for shipping.
