“A potash solution for Brazil’s Growing Potash Problem”
About Us

Verde is developing fertilizer products from its at-surface potash rich rock concessions for the large and growing Brazilian market.

Developing ThermoPotash

Verde is in the advanced stages of production planning, targeting a feasibility study in 2012. In association with leading agricultural development partners, the Company is conducting field trials to establish the efficacy of the product while giving potential customers a chance to use the product, and laboratory trials in an effort to register the fertilizer with the Ministry of Agriculture.

Drilling Program:

Verde is drilling the concessions to 1) demonstrate the long-life potential of the asset and 2) establish the full scope of the project. Management believes that it is sufficient to supply all of Brazil's potash needs. The drilling program will allow Verde to permit the whole 100km of the project and protect the resource under one mining permit. Verde is also drilling the limestone asset to establish a resource, which will allow Verde to secure the supply and guarantee the quality of limestone for the production of ThermoPotash. In addition, the Company will review other potential uses of the limestone asset, i.e.; cement production, agriculture.

Developing Conventional Potash:

Verde is working on its patent-filed process to convert its potash rock to conventional sulfate and muriate of potash.  In pursuit of eventual commercialization of conventional potash, the Company is developing a continuous process and working to control associated costs.

Apatita Phosphate:

Verde is following up on the success from autumn 2010.
